San Jose Jr. Sharks 18U uses early goal to top New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U, 4-2

San Jose Jr. Sharks 18U beat New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U, 4-2, in a contest where the winning goal was scored in the first period but the game remained close throughout.

Eric Folgmann provided San Jose Jr. Sharks 18U with the game-winning tally when he scored 4:21 into the the first period. San Jose Jr. Sharks 18U earned a power play opportunity when Dominic De La Guardia was put in the box for high sticking.

San Jose Jr. Sharks 18U's penalty kill excelled, as San Jose Jr. Sharks 18U gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.

San Jose Jr. Sharks 18U was led by Travis Burrow, who tallied one goal. Burrow scored 1:27 into the third period to make the score 3-1 San Jose Jr. Sharks 18U. Clayton Carr assisted on the tally.
