Omaha AAA Lancers 18U outlasts Pikes Peak Miners 18U, 4-2

Omaha AAA Lancers 18U and Pikes Peak Miners 18U were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Omaha AAA Lancers 18U made the most of its opportunities and won, 4-2.

Neither team gained more than a two-goal lead, and Blake Couture's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker.

Couture had a great game for Omaha AAA Lancers 18U, netting two goals.

Pikes Peak Miners 18U was unable to stop Omaha AAA Lancers 18U from sending pucks towards the net, and Omaha AAA Lancers 18U eventually piled up 40 shots on goal. Omaha AAA Lancers 18U's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals.

Alex Arnold also scored for Omaha AAA Lancers 18U. More assists for Omaha AAA Lancers 18U came via Colin Van Hauter, Kyle Pane, Mark Whitney, and Ryan Cagnoni, who contributed one a piece.
