Wenatchee Wild 16U vanquishes Indiana Jr. Ice 16U in shootout, 2-1

Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as Wenatchee Wild 16U defeated Indiana Jr. Ice 16U in a shootout 2-1.

The shootout featured 10 attempts between both teams. Indiana Jr. Ice 16U got a shootout goal from Brandon Bornkamp. Wenatchee Wild 16U's other shootout goal was scored by Chris Koukis.

Wenatchee Wild 16U overcame a one-goal deficit to capture the victory. Wenatchee Wild 16U fell behind 1-0 after a goal by Indiana Jr. Ice 16U's Bornkamp at 8:49 in the second period. Wenatchee Wild 16U tied things up at 1-1 on a goal by Duncan Cochrane at 15:32 in the second period.
