Pittsburgh Viper Stars 16U vanquishes San Jose Jr. Sharks 16U in shootout, 3-2

Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as Pittsburgh Viper Stars 16U defeated San Jose Jr. Sharks 16U in a shootout 3-2.

The shootout featured 22 attempts between both teams. San Jose Jr. Sharks 16U's shootout goals were scored by Austin Elchinoff and Christopher Milner. Pittsburgh Viper Stars 16U's other shootout goals were scored by Anthony Franks and Austin Tonkovich.

Pittsburgh Viper Stars 16U overcame a one-goal deficit to capture the victory.
