In a game where neither team could get a cushion, the Toronto Lakeshore Patriots escaped with a 4-2 victory over the Toronto Junior Canadiens. Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Kyle Dutra secured the win for Toronto Lakeshore with a goal in the second period. Dutra had two goals to lead the Patriots to victory. Toronto Lakeshore cashed in on power play opportunities, scoring two goals on three chances. Toronto Lakeshore also got a goal from Daniel Tedesco as well. More assists for Toronto Lakeshore came via Alex D Oliveira, who had two and Dylan Carter, Wes Deme, Nathan Feric, Doug Bonar, Mike Vallescuro, and Michael Apreda, who contributed one a piece. Toronto kept the Patriots' goalie busy throughout the game, and Joseph Pianta made 30 saves on 32 shots. The Junior Canadiens were helped by Nicholas Jarzabek, who finished with one goal. Jarzabek scored on the power play 17:04 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Toronto Lakeshore.
