Behind a great game by Joseph Santino, who had one goal and two assists, the Toronto Junior Canadiens defeated the Burlington Cougars, 7-4. Santino beat Brock Novak with a shot 4:56 into the first period on the power play to make the score 1-1. Burlington earned a power play opportunity when Dalton APM Hnatko was put in the box for holding stick. Mike Sones picked up the assist. Shane Conacher dished an assist on Tyler Lepore's goal that made the score 2-1 Burlington at 8:33 into the first period.
