Parker Gahagen was superb between the pipes for the Buffalo Jr. Sabres, as he did not allow a goal in a 3-0 victory over the Georgetown Raiders. Tyler Gjurich was all over the ice for Buffalo, as he tallied two goals in the win. Gjurich's tallies came at 3:26 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Buffalo and on the power play 11:04 into the second to make the score 3-0 Buffalo. The Jr. Sabres stifled Georgetown's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Buffalo featured an improved defense during the game. The Jr. Sabres allow 2.9 goals per game. Buffalo also got points from Josh Kielich, who also registered one goal and one assist. In addition, Buffalo received assists from Tony DeVito, Ryan Schmelzer, Sean Federow, and Nolan Sheeran, who contributed one a piece. The Raiders could not produce up to they normal offensive output. Georgetown averages 3.4 goals per game. The Raiders' offense rang up 33 shots on Buffalo's net. The Jr. Sabres' Gahagen stopped 33 shots out of the 33 that he faced. Buffalo incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Gabe Grunwald made 26 saves for Georgetown on 29 shots. The Raiders incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
