North York downs Mississauga, 2-1

Nicholas Geiser finished with one point to lead the North York Rangers to a 2-1 victory over the Mississauga Chargers.

North York's offense rang up 35 shots on Mississauga's net.

North York also got a goal from Corey Kalk as well. More assists for North York came via Valadao Adam, Liam Kerins, Michael Giacometti, and John Carpino, who each chipped in one.

The Chargers excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. Mississauga did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Chargers average 3.4 goals per game.

Mississauga was led by Ryan Hunter, who scored the team's only goal. Hunter scored 19:43 into the first period to make the score 1-1.

Jason Pucciarelli recorded 21 saves for the Rangers. North York incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Alex Lepore made 33 saves for the Chargers on 35 shots. Mississauga incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors.
