The Toronto Lakeshore Patriots gutted out a close 4-2 win against the Orangeville Flyers. Toronto Lakeshore gained the winning advantage on a goal by Michael Apreda 2:19 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer. The Patriots were led by Apreda, who had one goal. Toronto Lakeshore managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Patriots wound up below its season average of 16.0 penalty minutes per game. Wes Deme also scored for Toronto Lakeshore. Other players who recorded assists for Toronto Lakeshore were Dylan Carter, who had two and Daniel Tedesco, Luke Carter, Nathan Feric, Doug Bonar, Mike Vallescuro, and Alex D Oliveira, who contributed one a piece. Orangeville was helped by John Doyle, who racked up one goal. Doyle scored 10:50 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Orangeville. Mathew Thompson assisted on the tally. Orangeville also got a goal from Brandon Gaudette as well. In addition, Orangeville received assists from Blake Forslund and Matteo Condotta, who each chipped in one. Stormer Santana rejected 19 shots on goal for Toronto Lakeshore. The Patriots registered zero goals on zero power play opportunities. Bo Bessette made 20 saves for the Flyers on 24 shots. Orangeville avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored zero goals off of one power plays.
