Milton downs Mississauga, 6-3

Ryan Burns registered one point to lead the Milton Icehawks to a 6-3 victory over the Mississauga Chargers.

Milton forced Mississauga goalie Austin Washkurak to work between the pipes, taking 43 shots.

Milton also got points from Spencer Gourlay, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Kane Elliot, who also finished with one goal and one assist, and Brad Kobryn, who also had one goal and one assist. Milton also got a goal from Brock Bottachio as well. Other players who recorded assists for Milton were Austin Kosack, Jake Baird, Michael Capicotto, and Shane Bennett, who each chipped in one and Jonathon Buttitta and Rocky Furfari, who contributed two a piece.

The Chargers' offense rang up 40 shots on the Icehawks' net.

Mississauga was led by Jimmy Cusan, who registered one goal and one assist. Cusan scored 19:48 into the first period to make the score 3-1 Mississauga. Nicholas Palumbo assisted on the tally. Stefano Alonzi also scored for Mississauga. In addition, Mississauga received assists from Nick Tetley and A Valente, who each chipped in one.

Braden Mann recorded 37 saves for Milton. The Icehawks incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. The Chargers' Washkurak stopped 37 shots out of the 42 that he faced. Mississauga incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors.
