Mississippi Surge gutted out a close 4-2 win against the Pensacola Ice Flyers.

Neither team gained more than a two-goal lead, and Anthony Collins's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker.

Pensacola's power play was ineffective against Mississippi Surge's penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded.

Mississippi Surge was paced by Collins, who racked up one goal and one assist. Collins scored on the power play 15:27 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Mississippi Surge.
