Philadelphia Revolution rolls over Frederick Freeze, 6-1

Philadelphia Revolution had a four-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-1 win over Frederick Freeze.

Philadelphia Revolution got the win thanks to a great game by Patrick McKerry, who had two goals and one assist. McKerry scored the first of his two goals at 8:02 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Philadelphia Revolution. McKerry's next tally made the score 4-0 Philadelphia Revolution with 3:47 left in the second period. Philadelphia Revolution earned a power play opportunity when Ben Margolis was put in the box for hooking. Kevin Stickle picked up the assist.

Philadelphia Revolution made Frederick Freeze's goalies to work in net, racking up 47 shots and forcing 41 saves. Nicholas Holencik made 26 stops and Daniyal Hannan made 15. Philadelphia Revolution excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Philadelphia Revolution bested its season scoring average. Philadelphia Revolution has scored at the pace of 2.9 goals per game during the current campaign.

Philadelphia Revolution also got points from Corey Lasko, who also finished with two goals and one assist. Philadelphia Revolution also got a goal from Andrew Bily as well. In addition, Philadelphia Revolution received assists from Connor Higgins and Jonathan Turner, who each chipped in one and Nolan Iorio and Cal Blockinger, who contributed two a piece.

Zachery Skop made 18 saves for Philadelphia Revolution on 19 shots. Philadelphia Revolution incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Frederick Freeze ended with 25 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major. For Frederick Freeze, Anthony Palermino was ejected from the game.
