Behind a great game by Nicholas Miller, who had two goals, Junior Bruins defeated Springfield Jr Pics, 6-1.

Miller scored at 9:42 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Junior Bruins and again while 11:10 into the second to make the score 3-1 Junior Bruins.

Springfield Jr Pics was stymied by Junior Bruins netminder Benjamin Gagnon, who stopped 30 shots during the victory. Gagnon managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 2.43 prior to the game.
