Brewster Bulldogs tried its best to erase a three-goal deficit, but Suffolk Juniors would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 7-6. Suffolk Juniors took a 6-3 lead during the third period, only to have Brewster Bulldogs storm back on a Christopher Hagen goal 14:37 into the third period to pull to one goal down. Suffolk Juniors put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Brewster Bulldogs to score on any of its six power plays. Suffolk Juniors forced Brewster Bulldogs goalie Matthew Rubenstein to work between the pipes, taking 37 shots. Suffolk Juniors was led by Michael Vaiano, who grabbed three goals. Suffolk Juniors additionally got points from Daniel Lore, who also finished with one goal and two assists. Steven Azzara also scored for Suffolk Juniors. In addition, Suffolk Juniors received assists from Joseph Bizzaro, who had three and Axl Frisina, Anthony Modica, and Michael Gioia, who contributed one a piece.
