Junior Bruins relied on the scoring touch of John Buchanan, who netted two goals, to beat Bay State Breakers, 6-3.

Buchanan's tallies came at 5:26 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Junior Bruins and 18:17 into the first to make the score 2-0 Junior Bruins.

Bay State Breakers was unable to stop Junior Bruins from sending pucks towards the net, and Junior Bruins eventually piled up 39 shots on goal. Junior Bruins found itself short handed often, totaling 32 penalty minutes and allowing eight power plays.

Devin Stoddard also scored for Junior Bruins. Other players who recorded assists for Junior Bruins were Ryan Azar, Nicholas Miller, Luke Prendergast, and Tyler Kirby, who each chipped in one.
