Tyler Kirby netted a hat trick to lead Junior Bruins over Islanders Hockey Club, 6-2.

Kirby's first goal came 14:36 into the first period. He then added goals at 10:53 into the third and at 15:52 into the third.

Junior Bruins managed to stay out of the box better than usual, totaling one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Junior Bruins ended up below its season average of 18.0 penalty minutes per game. Junior Bruins kept Islanders Hockey Club's goalie busy throughout the game, and Kyle Hichens made 45 saves on 51 shots.
