Berman's big game bests Frederick Freeze in 11-0 Boch Blazers win

Boch Blazers' Trevor Berman had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing four assists in his team's 11-0 win over Frederick Freeze.

Berman scored at 40 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 Boch Blazers and again while 20:23 into the second to make the score 11-0 Boch Blazers.

Boch Blazers forced Frederick Freeze's netminders to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, totaling 47 shots and forcing 36 saves. John Ketzenberger made 36 stops and Nicholas Holencik made zero. Boch Blazers' defensive play was more effective than usual against Frederick Freeze. Boch Blazers gives up 2.5 goals on average per game. Boch Blazers bested its season scoring average. This season, Boch Blazers averages 5.6 goals per contest. Boch Blazers got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

Boch Blazers also got points from Sidney Thomas, who also registered five goals and two assists to lead the team in points, Patrick Hayes, who also tallied one goal and two assists, and Caleb Doherty, who also finished with two goals and one assist. Brian Fisher also scored for Boch Blazers. In addition, Boch Blazers received assists from Emilio Botelho, who had one and Ryan McCarthy, Sean Lowe, and Adam Lewis, who each chipped in two.

Frederick Freeze did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. Frederick Freeze puts an average of 2.5 pucks into the net per game. Frederick Freeze did not challenge the opposing netminder, only getting 10 shots on net to force 10 saves.
