Junior Bruins' Tyler Kirby had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 7-2 win over Islanders Hockey Club.

Kirby found the back of the net on the power play 9:30 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Junior Bruins and again while 13:26 into the second to make the score 4-0 Junior Bruins.

Islanders Hockey Club was unable to stop Junior Bruins from sending pucks towards the net, and Junior Bruins eventually piled up 72 shots on goal.

Junior Bruins also got points from Tucker Falk, who also registered one goal and one assist. Ryan Azar also scored for Junior Bruins. More assists for Junior Bruins came via Alex Duplessie, who had two and John Buchanan and Jake McKinnon, who contributed one a piece.

Islanders Hockey Club forced its penalty killing units to work especially hard during the game, picking up six minors and one major for 27 minutes in penalty time. Islanders Hockey Club surpassed its season average of 17.0 penalty minutes per game. Islanders Hockey Club did not challenge the opposing netminder, only getting nine shots on net to force seven saves.

Islanders Hockey Club was led by Eric Legere, who racked up two goals. Legere scored the first of his two goals at 2:59 into the third period to make the score 5-1 Junior Bruins. Nikita Polishchuk assisted on the tally. Legere's next tally made the score 6-2 Junior Bruins with 5:38 left in the third period. William Loranger picked up the assist.
