Junior Bruins takes care of New Hampshire Jr Monarchs early, wins 15-2

Junior Bruins opened up a four-goal lead after the first period and did not look back en route to a 15-2 over New Hampshire Jr Monarchs.

Michael Centerbar had a great game for Junior Bruins, netting four goals. Centerbar's first goal came 7:25 into the first period. He then added goals at 5:04 into the second, at 15:36 into the second, and at 19:12 into the third.

New Hampshire Jr Monarchs' power play was ineffective against Junior Bruins' penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

Junior Bruins made New Hampshire Jr Monarchs' goalies to work without much rest, taking 53 shots and forcing 38 saves. Matthew Evans made 13 stops and James McCoy made 25. Junior Bruins' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on seven New Hampshire Jr Monarchs power plays. Junior Bruins bested its season scoring average. Junior Bruins averages 6.5 goals per game. Junior Bruins' penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as Junior Bruins finished with 24 penalty minutes.

Junior Bruins additionally got points from Ryan Azar, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Alex Duplessie, who also finished with one goal and one assist, Jake McKinnon, who also registered two goals and two assists, Nicolas Ferretti, who also had one goal and one assist, James Blute, who also grabbed two goals and one assist, and Tyler Kirby, who also finished with one goal and two assists. Others who scored for Junior Bruins included Nicholas Miller, who had one and John Buchanan, who had two. More assists for Junior Bruins came via Altan Atamer and Kyle Chumsae, who each chipped in one and Jordan Hanahan, Benjamin Gagnon, Dommichael Piccini, and Tucker Falk, who contributed two a piece.

New Hampshire Jr Monarchs excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in six chances.

New Hampshire Jr Monarchs was led by Eric Rackett, who tallied one goal and one assist. Rackett scored 10:43 into the third period to make the score 12-1 Junior Bruins. Ryan Pacheco provided the assist. New Hampshire Jr Monarchs also got a goal from Cam Allen as well.

Junior Bruins took out Ryan Porter after he had made 10 saves and installed Gagnon in goal, where he finished with 13 saves and the win. New Hampshire Jr Monarchs incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
