Signorelli's big game bests Philadelphia Revolution in 7-3 Jersey Wildcats win

Cody Signorelli had one goal and two assists to lead Jersey Wildcats to a 7-3 victory over Philadelphia Revolution.

Signorelli scored 13:49 into the second period to make the score 4-0 Jersey Wildcats. Nicholas Hermann provided the assist. Signorelli dished an assist on Alex Kempinski's goal that made the score 1-0 Jersey Wildcats at 14:40 into the first period. He added another helper on Ryan Demgard's goal that made the score 2-0 Jersey Wildcats at 4:35 into the second period.

Jersey Wildcats made Philadelphia Revolution's goaltenders to work all game long, racking up 34 shots and forcing 27 saves. Troy Klahre made 14 stops and Colton Theiss made 13. Jersey Wildcats put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Philadelphia Revolution to score on any of its five power plays. Jersey Wildcats surpassed its usual scoring output this season. This season, Jersey Wildcats averages 3.4 goals per contest. Jersey Wildcats' defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals.

Jersey Wildcats additionally got points from Kempinski, who also grabbed two goals and one assist, Michael Matos, who also had one goal and two assists, and Demgard, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Jersey Wildcats also got a goal from Bryan Andalaft as well. More assists for Jersey Wildcats came via Charles Woolmuth, Matthew Horn, Joseph Curto, Kyle Davey, and Carmine Taffo, who each chipped in one.

Philadelphia Revolution was helped by Ryan Zujkowski, who registered one goal and one assist. Zujkowski scored 5:41 into the third period to make the score 6-2 Jersey Wildcats. Connor Higgins assisted on the tally. Joseph Keenan also scored for Philadelphia Revolution. In addition, Philadelphia Revolution received assists from Jonathan Turner and Nolan Iorio, who contributed one a piece.

Jersey Wildcats' Peter Andersson stopped 23 shots out of the 26 that he faced. Jersey Wildcats incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Philadelphia Revolution incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
