Buckley lifts Islanders Hockey Club over New Hampshire Jr Monarchs, 7-2

Brett Buckley was all over the ice for Islanders Hockey Club, as he tallied two goals in Islanders Hockey Club's 7-2 win over New Hampshire Jr Monarchs.

Buckley scored at 6:41 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Islanders Hockey Club and again while 10:22 into the second to make the score 3-2 Islanders Hockey Club.

Islanders Hockey Club's penalty kill excelled, as Islanders Hockey Club gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.

Islanders Hockey Club stifled New Hampshire Jr Monarchs' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Islanders Hockey Club's offense rang up 38 shots on New Hampshire Jr Monarchs' net. Islanders Hockey Club bested its season scoring average. New Hampshire Jr Monarchs was led by Storoniak William, who racked up two goals. William scored the first of his two goals at 10:45 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Islanders Hockey Club. Connor Stevens picked up the assist. William's next tally made the score 2-2 with 19:14 left in the second period. Cam Allen assisted on the tally. Other players who recorded assists for New Hampshire Jr Monarchs were Eric Rackett, who had one.
