Jersey Wildcats tried to dig itself out of a four-goal hole, but Suffolk Juniors held on for a 6-4 victory. A goal by Joseph Bizzaro put Suffolk Juniors up 6-2 in the second period, but Jersey Wildcats pulled to within two on Connor Hoarty's tally 19:08 into the third period. Suffolk Juniors kept Jersey Wildcats' goalie busy throughout the game, and Peter Andersson made 29 saves on 35 shots. Suffolk Juniors managed to hold Jersey Wildcats' power play largely in check, allowing only one goal while on the disadvantage. Suffolk Juniors could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 44 minutes in penalties during the game. Suffolk Juniors additionally got points from Steven Azzara, who also registered one goal and one assist. Anthony Modica also scored for Suffolk Juniors. In addition, Suffolk Juniors received assists from Daniel Lore and Ryan Maraldo, who each chipped in one and Keith Jordan and Michael Vaiano, who contributed two a piece. Jersey Wildcats' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Suffolk Juniors power plays. Suffolk Juniors was unable to stop Jersey Wildcats from sending pucks towards the net, and Jersey Wildcats eventually piled up 43 shots on goal. Jersey Wildcats was helped by Corey Carnahan, who registered one goal. Carnahan scored 4:22 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Jersey Wildcats. Matthew Horn picked up the assist. Jersey Wildcats also got a goal from Ryan Demgard as well. More assists for Jersey Wildcats came via Kyle Davey, Alex Kempinski, and Christopher Butryn, who each chipped in one. Eric Tatarian recorded 39 saves for Suffolk Juniors. Jersey Wildcats incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors.
