Kirby, Ferretti lead Junior Bruins over New Hampshire Jr Monarchs, 9-4

Behind one goal from Tyler Kirby and one goal Nicolas Ferretti, Junior Bruins downed New Hampshire Jr Monarchs 9-4.

Kirby scored 2:27 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Junior Bruins. Kyle Chumsae picked up the assist. Ferretti scored 17 seconds into the third period to make the score 5-3 Junior Bruins. Corey Deres assisted on the tally.

Junior Bruins forced New Hampshire Jr Monarchs' goalies to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, totaling 39 shots and forcing 30 saves. Ian Larson made 30 stops and Connor Marfongelli made zero. Junior Bruins surpassed its usual scoring output this season. This season, Junior Bruins averages 6.1 goals per contest.
