Islanders Hockey Club tried to dig itself out of a three-goal hole, but Bay State Breakers held on for a 5-4 victory. Bay State Breakers took a 5-2 lead during the third period, only to have Islanders Hockey Club storm back on a Eric Legere goal 13:56 into the third period to pull to one goal down. Bay State Breakers pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 24 penalty minutes. Islanders Hockey Club was unable to stop Bay State Breakers from sending pucks towards the net, and Bay State Breakers eventually piled up 39 shots on goal. Bay State Breakers was led by Cameron Miglietta, who registered two goals. Miglietta scored the first of his two goals at 7:19 into the second period to make the score 2-2. David Hasenfuss picked up the assist. Miglietta's next tally made the score Bay State Breakers with 14:02 left in the third period. Bay State Breakers found itself down a man on James Crockett's cross checking. Mason Sloan assisted on the tally.
