Brewster Bulldogs wins tough contest against Frederick Freeze, 5-3

Brewster Bulldogs gutted out a close 5-3 win against Frederick Freeze.

No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Gunnar Boeschl at 11:45 of the third period.

Boeschl had two goals to lead Brewster Bulldogs to victory.

Frederick Freeze was unable to stop Brewster Bulldogs from sending pucks towards the net, and Brewster Bulldogs eventually piled up 40 shots on goal. Brewster Bulldogs surpassed its usual scoring output this season. Brewster Bulldogs has scored at the pace of 2.9 goals per game during the current campaign.

Brewster Bulldogs also got points from Steve Pallos, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Gregory Hennings, who also finished with one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Christopher Hagen also scored for Brewster Bulldogs. Other players who recorded assists for Brewster Bulldogs were Richard Folchetti and Max Henry, who contributed one a piece.

Frederick Freeze's offense rang up 34 shots on Brewster Bulldogs' net. Frederick Freeze got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.
