Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as New York Apple Core defeated Philadelphia Revolution in a shootout 6-5 (2-1 SO). The shootout featured six attempts between both teams. Philadelphia Revolution's shootout goal was scored by Andre Viens. In addition to the clincher, New York Apple Core got a shootout goal from Dillon Radin.New York Apple Core came back from a three-goal deficit to capture the victory. New York Apple Core fell behind 5-2 after a power play goal by Philadelphia Revolution's Ryan Zujkowski at 13:48 in the second period. New York Apple Core knotted things up at 5-5 on a goal by Colton Schnall at 3:53 in the third period. Kyle Becker had a great game for New York Apple Core, netting two goals. Becker's tallies came at 17:26 into the first period to make the score 2-1 New York Apple Core and on the power play 17:19 into the second to make the score 5-3 Philadelphia Revolution. New York Apple Core's offense rang up 61 shots on Philadelphia Revolution's net. New York Apple Core additionally got points from Schnall, who also had one goal and one assist and Travis Quigley, who also finished with one goal and one assist. New York Apple Core also got a goal from Phil Laurelli as well.
