Boch Blazers downs Junior Bruins, 7-3

Even with Corey Deres' three points, Junior Bruins lost 7-3 to Boch Blazers.

Boch Blazers was sparked by Caleb Doherty, who racked up one goal and one assist. Doherty scored 19:12 into the second period to make the score 4-3 Boch Blazers. Emilio Botelho picked up the assist.

Boch Blazers' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Junior Bruins power plays. Boch Blazers' offense rang up 34 shots on Junior Bruins' net. Boch Blazers' defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals.

Boch Blazers also got points from Jacob Dyl, who also had one goal and one assist, Botelho, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Colin Cordeiro, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Riley Smith, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Patrick Hayes also scored for Boch Blazers. In addition, Boch Blazers received assists from Joseph Fernandes, who had two and Jan Kovacik, Trevor Berman, and Edward Botelho, who contributed one a piece.

Junior Bruins stifled Boch Blazers' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Junior Bruins did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season.
