Jake McKinnon netted a hat trick to lead Junior Bruins over New Hampshire Jr Monarchs, 8-4.

McKinnon's first goal came 49 seconds into the second period. He then added goals at 6:29 into the third and at 11:42 into the third.

Junior Bruins put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow New Hampshire Jr Monarchs to score on any of its three power plays. Junior Bruins forced New Hampshire Jr Monarchs goalie Connor Marfongelli to work between the pipes, taking 51 shots.

Junior Bruins also got points from Corey Deres, who also registered two goals and two assists and Tyler Kirby, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Ryan Azar also scored for Junior Bruins.
