Suffolk Juniors erases deficit to stun Springfield Jr Pics, 4-3

Undaunted by a two-goal deficit, Suffolk Juniors battled back to claim a 4-3 victory over Springfield Jr Pics.

Suffolk Juniors let multiple leads slip away before eventually digging out of a two hole to pick up the win. Suffolk Juniors took a 1-0 advantage on a goal by Salvatore Geraci at 8:30 in the first period. Suffolk Juniors found itself down 3-1 after Springfield Jr Pics' Tom Greene put the puck home at 10:45 in the second period. After tying things up at 3-3 on a goal by Geraci at 14:36 in the second, Suffolk Juniors got the game-winner from Michael Gioia at 18:07 in the second period.

Suffolk Juniors' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Springfield Jr Pics power plays. Suffolk Juniors' offense rang up 38 shots on Springfield Jr Pics' net.
