Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as Suffolk Juniors defeated Brewster Bulldogs in a shootout 4-3 (1-0 SO).

Suffolk Juniors forced Brewster Bulldogs goalie Zachary Shapiro to work between the pipes, taking 36 shots.

Suffolk Juniors was helped by Michael Vaiano, who tallied one goal. Vaiano scored 15:47 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Suffolk Juniors. Daniel Lore picked up the assist. Axl Frisina also scored for Suffolk Juniors. In addition, Suffolk Juniors received assists from Andrew Dellicicchi, Joseph Bizzaro, Casey OLeary, and Steven Azzara, who each chipped in one.

Brewster Bulldogs kept Suffolk Juniors' goalie busy throughout the game, and Eric Tatarian made 29 saves on 32 shots.

Brewster Bulldogs was helped by Gregory Hennings, who racked up one goal. Hennings scored 2:54 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Brewster Bulldogs. Kevin Kennedy assisted on the tally. Brewster Bulldogs also got a goal from Connor Bubolo as well. More assists for Brewster Bulldogs came via Austin King, who had one.
