Huge game by Quinn boosts Suffolk Juniors over New Hampshire Jr Monarchs, 4-1

Suffolk Juniors' Joseph Quinn had a big offensive game, scoring one goal and contributing two assists in his team's 4-1 win over New Hampshire Jr Monarchs.

Quinn beat James McCoy with a shot 9:18 into the first period on the power play to make the score 2-0 Suffolk Juniors. A holding penalty on Harry ODonoghue had put Suffolk Juniors on the power play. Ryan Maraldo picked up the assist. Quinn dished an assist on Maraldo's goal that made the score 1-0 Suffolk Juniors at 4:10 into the first period. He added another helper on Michael Vaiano's goal that made the score 4-1 Suffolk Juniors at 1:03 into the second period.

New Hampshire Jr Monarchs was stymied by Suffolk Juniors netminder Eric Tatarian, who stopped 28 shots during the victory. Tatarian managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 2.74 prior to the game.

Suffolk Juniors excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. New Hampshire Jr Monarchs was unable to stop Suffolk Juniors from sending pucks towards the net, and Suffolk Juniors eventually piled up 41 shots on goal.

Suffolk Juniors also got points from Maraldo, who also registered one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Suffolk Juniors were Joseph Bizzaro and Salvatore Geraci, who contributed one a piece.
