Junior Bruins downs Suffolk Juniors, 6-3

Junior Bruins beat Suffolk Juniors, 6-3.

Junior Bruins was helped by Dommichael Piccini, who finished with one goal. Piccini scored 2:58 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Junior Bruins. Junior Bruins also got points from Cayden Bengtson, who also tallied one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Others who scored for Junior Bruins included John Buchanan, who had two and Corey Deres and James Koonce, who scored one goal each. More assists for Junior Bruins came via Ryan Azar, Jonathan Panarelli, Michael Centerbar, and Tyler Kirby, who each chipped in one.

Suffolk Juniors was helped by Alex Posillico, who racked up one goal. Posillico scored 24:15 into the second period to make the score 5-3 Junior Bruins. Steven Azzara assisted on the tally. Suffolk Juniors also got a goal from Joseph Bizzaro as well. In addition, Suffolk Juniors received assists from Casey OLeary, who had two.

Benjamin Gagnon made 18 saves for Junior Bruins on 21 shots. Junior Bruins finished the contest with no penalties and went 1-for-0 with the man advantage. Stephen Mundinger took the loss and made 10 saves before being replaced by Eric Tatarian who made 10 saves. Suffolk Juniors avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored two goals off of zero power plays.
