Islanders Hockey Club outlasts Jersey Wildcats, 5-3

The game between Islanders Hockey Club and Jersey Wildcats was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Islanders Hockey Club emerged with a 5-3 win.

No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Matthew Blais at 21:52 of the second period.

Thomas Bishop had two goals to lead Islanders Hockey Club to victory. Bishop found the back of the net 17:34 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Islanders Hockey Club and again while 24:39 into the second to make the score 5-3 Islanders Hockey Club.

Islanders Hockey Club excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances.

Islanders Hockey Club also got a goal from William Loranger as well. Other players who recorded assists for Islanders Hockey Club were Kip Strong and Thomas Labore, who each chipped in two.

Jersey Wildcats' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Islanders Hockey Club power plays.

Jersey Wildcats was helped by Alex Kempinski, who had one goal. Kempinski scored 14:38 into the second period to make the score 3-3. Michael Matos assisted on the tally. Carmine Taffo also scored for Jersey Wildcats. More assists for Jersey Wildcats came via Nicholas Hall, Nicholas Hermann, and Ryan Demgard, who contributed one a piece.

Islanders Hockey Club incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Jersey Wildcats incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
