Springfield Jr Pics wins tough contest against Islanders Hockey Club, 6-4

The game between Springfield Jr Pics and Islanders Hockey Club was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Springfield Jr Pics emerged with a 6-4 win.

No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Chase Broten at 14:32 of the third period.

Broten was all over the ice for Springfield Jr Pics, as he finished with two goals in the win.

Springfield Jr Pics' offense rang up 46 shots on Islanders Hockey Club's net. Springfield Jr Pics outdid its season average for goals scored. Springfield Jr Pics averages 3.3 goals per game. Springfield Jr Pics had trouble converting on the power play advantage, managing just two goals on nine chances.

Springfield Jr Pics additionally got points from Tyler Reopel, who also racked up one goal and two assists to lead the team in points and Christopher Breault, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Springfield Jr Pics also got a goal from Robert Smith as well. In addition, Springfield Jr Pics received assists from Zachary Smith, Luke Jodoin, and Ben McKenna, who each chipped in one.
