Islanders Hockey Club survives Jersey Wildcats comeback, wins 3-1

Islanders Hockey Club, which led by three goals at one point, survived a comeback attempt by Islanders Hockey Club and clinched a 3-1 victory.

Islanders Hockey Club led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when Islanders Hockey Club's Matthew King's scored at 19:00 in the second period to put Islanders Hockey Club up 3-0.

Islanders Hockey Club was led by Matthew Blais, who racked up one goal and one assist. Blais scored 15:18 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Islanders Hockey Club. Evan Beatty assisted on the tally.

Islanders Hockey Club's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Jersey Wildcats power plays.

Islanders Hockey Club also got points from Thomas Bishop, who also had one goal and one assist. In addition, Islanders Hockey Club received assists from Jeff Scimone, who had one.

Jersey Wildcats excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances.

Jersey Wildcats was led by Carmine Taffo, who scored the team's only goal. Taffo scored 23:49 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Islanders Hockey Club. Ryan Demgard picked up the assist.

Islanders Hockey Club incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Jersey Wildcats incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
