Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as New Hampshire Jr Monarchs defeated Islanders Hockey Club in a shootout 5-4 (1-0 SO). The shootout lasted for six attempts between the teams.New Hampshire Jr Monarchs overcame a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. New Hampshire Jr Monarchs was down 4-2 after a goal by Islanders Hockey Club's Thomas Bishop at 11:22 in the second period. New Hampshire Jr Monarchs tied things up at 4-4 on a goal by Harry ODonoghue at 19:56 in the third period. In the losing effort, Islanders Hockey Club was led by Bishop, who racked up two goals. Bishop scored the first of his two goals at 19:39 into the first period to make the score 2-2. Matthew Blais picked up the assist. Bishop's next tally made the score Islanders Hockey Club with 8:38 left in the second period. Blais assisted on the tally. New Hampshire Jr Monarchs' offense rang up 52 shots on Islanders Hockey Club's net. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals. New Hampshire Jr Monarchs also got points from Nicholas Deveau, who also finished with one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Storoniak William also scored for New Hampshire Jr Monarchs. In addition, New Hampshire Jr Monarchs received assists from Eric Rackett, Spencer Weeks, Connor Stevens, and Maxwell Hegge, who each chipped in one. New Hampshire Jr Monarchs was unable to stop Islanders Hockey Club from sending pucks towards the net, and Islanders Hockey Club eventually piled up 54 shots on goal. Islanders Hockey Club also got a goal from Joseph Scalli as well. Other players who recorded assists for Islanders Hockey Club were Jonathan Fairbanks, Ryan Loranger, Shannon Thomas, and Andy Loranger, who contributed one a piece. Ian Larson rejected 50 shots on goal for New Hampshire Jr Monarchs. New Hampshire Jr Monarchs incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Evan King made 47 saves for Islanders Hockey Club on 51 shots. Islanders Hockey Club incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
