The South Shore Kings had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-1 win over the Valley Junior Warriors. South Shore pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 14 penalty minutes. The Kings were led by Christopher Oliveira, who registered one goal and one assist. Oliveira scored short handed 19:00 into the first period to make the score 2-0 South Shore. South Shore found itself down a man on Evan Jacques's kneeing. The Kings' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six Valley power plays. Valley was unable to stop South Shore from sending pucks towards the net, and the Kings eventually piled up 38 shots on goal. South Shore also got points from Philip Falkof, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Paul Wagner, who also had one goal and one assist, and Jacques, who also racked up one goal and one assist. William Cara-Donna also scored for South Shore. Other players who recorded assists for South Shore were Paul Marino, who had two and Stephen Rocchio, Brandyn Fogarty, and Owen Campbell, who each chipped in one. The Junior Warriors' offense operated below they season average. Valley averages 3.5 goals per game. The Junior Warriors were led by Matthew Culot, who scored the team's only goal. Culot scored 19:47 into the first period to make the score 2-1 South Shore. James Dunn rejected 24 shots on goal for South Shore. The Kings registered one goal on four power play opportunities. Valley's Matthew Saraceno stopped 32 shots out of the 38 that he faced. The Junior Warriors incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
