Boston Bandits shrugs off penalties, upends Bay State, 4-0

The Bay State Breakers failed to take advantage of their power play opportunities and Boston Bandits shook off a number of penalties to win, 4-0.
Boston Bandits put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Bay State to score on any of its seven power plays. Boston Bandits' defensive effort looked to be improved. Boston Bandits gives up 2.8 goals on average per game. Boston Bandits kept the Breakers' goalie busy throughout the game, and Redmund Hunt made 33 saves on 37 shots. Boston Bandits could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 18 minutes in penalties during the game.
Boston Bandits also got a goal from Connor Court as well. Other players who recorded assists for Boston Bandits were Matthew Grzybinski, Kevin Yun, Michael Taormina, and Aharon Lara, who contributed one a piece.
Bay State was held below its usual level of production. The Breakers put an average of 3.7 pucks into the net per game. Bay State was forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as it racked up 24 penalty minutes.
Brett Smith made 17 saves for Boston Bandits on 17 shots. Boston Bandits registered two goals on five power play opportunities.
