East Coast's comeback falls short, Atlanta wins 3-1

The Atlanta Knights, who led by three goals at one point, survived a comeback attempt by Atlanta and clinched a 3-1 victory.

The Knights led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when Atlanta's Zachary Egan's scored at 17:18 in the second period to put the Knights up 3-0.

The East Coast Eagles were stymied by Atlanta netminder Sean Davis, who stopped 26 shots during the victory. Davis managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 1.98 prior to the game.

The Knights were sparked by Ryan Dumond, who tallied one goal and one assist. Dumond scored 11:10 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Atlanta. Se Kim provided the assist.

Atlanta's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three East Coast power plays. The Knights kept East Coast's goalie busy throughout the game, and Ryan Taylor made 29 saves on 32 shots.

Atlanta also got points from Egan, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Atlanta also got a goal from Jack Trischett as well. More assists for Atlanta came via Nick Elliott, who had one.

The Eagles could not produce up to they normal offensive output. East Coast puts an average of 3.5 pucks into the net per game.

The Eagles were led by Christopher Adamson, who scored the team's only goal. Adamson scored 17:48 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Atlanta. Kyle Levere picked up the assist.

Atlanta incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. East Coast incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
