Boston Bandits came close to giving away a three-goal lead to Islanders, but did just enough to escape with a 4-2 victory. Boston Bandits led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when Boston Bandits' Taylor Hale's scored at 4:09 in the second period to put Boston Bandits up 3-0. Boston Bandits made Islanders' goalies to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, finishing with 38 shots and forcing 34 saves. Brenden Tidman made 15 stops and Michael Kitts made 19. Boston Bandits got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game. Boston Bandits also got points from Matthew Grzybinski, who also tallied one goal and one assist.
