Prins nets hat trick, leads Connecticut to 5-1 win over Bay State

Philip Prins netted a hat trick to lead the Connecticut Oilers over the Bay State Breakers, 5-1.Prins got on the scoresheet 2:53 into the second period. He then added goals at 15:22 into the second and at 8:37 into the third.
Bay State was stymied by Connecticut netminder Christopher Bastone, who stopped 33 shots during the victory. Bastone managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 3.77 prior to the game.
