Cody Calcagno was all over the ice for Jersey Hitmen, as he tallied two goals in the win. Calcagno's tallies came at 3:53 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Jersey Hitmen and on the power play 33 seconds into the third to make the score 5-0 Jersey Hitmen.

Jersey Hitmen made Connecticut's goalies to work without much rest, finishing with 51 shots and forcing 45 saves. Millendorf made 35 stops and Christopher Bastone made 10. More assists for Jersey Hitmen came via Joe Campisano and David Kleyman, who each chipped in one and Cory Sala, Luke Rodgers, and Brendan Riley, who contributed two a piece.
