The Valley Junior Warriors had trouble finding ways to stop Junior Bruins, which beat Junior Warriors, 4-1. Junior Bruins was led by Ryan OToole, who racked up one goal. OToole scored 14:38 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Junior Bruins. Jeremy Hannah provided the assist. Junior Bruins' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Valley power plays. Junior Bruins forced Valley goalie Matthew Saraceno to work between the pipes, taking 43 shots. Junior Bruins additionally got points from Vince DAmato, who also finished with one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Junior Bruins also got a goal from Brian Fahey as well. In addition, Junior Bruins received assists from Bryan Carter, who had two and Michael Kantorski, Robert Houghton, Thomas Fahey, and Anthony Galloway, who each chipped in one. The Junior Warriors stifled Junior Bruins' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Valley's offense operated below it season average. The Junior Warriors put an average of 3.7 pucks into the net per game. Valley could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 54 minutes in penalties during the game. The Junior Warriors were led by Brendan Philippon, who scored the team's only goal. Philippon scored 19:55 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Junior Bruins. Connor Donahue assisted on the tally. Maxwell Barr made 24 saves for Junior Bruins on 25 shots. Junior Bruins incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Saraceno rejected 39 shots on goal for Valley. Team's Rory OConnor and Matthew Culot were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game.
