The East Coast Eagles fell victim to the Potomac Patriots' four power play goals en route to a 7-4 loss. Potomac made Eagles' goalies to work between the pipes, taking 37 shots and forcing 30 saves. Conner Fissel made five stops and Roman Riselvato made 25. The Patriots outdid their season average for goals scored. Potomac averages 2.9 goals per game. The Patriots were often in penalty trouble, as it ended with nine minors and one major for 23 minutes in penalty time. Potomac's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals. The Patriots were led by Tyler Nolan, who grabbed two goals and one assist. Nolan scored the first of his two goals at 15:07 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Miles Miller provided the assist. Nolan's next tally made the score 4-1 Potomac with 2:43 left in the second period. Nicholas Grose assisted on the tally. Potomac also got points from Robert Santiago, who also registered one goal and one assist and Robert Stone, who also tallied one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. East Coast was led by Shane Selan, who had two goals and one assist. Selan scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 14:23 into the third period to make the score 5-3 Potomac. The Eagles had gained a power play chance when Powers was whistled for roughing. Graff Richards provided the assist. Selan's next tally on the power play made the score 7-4 Potomac with 16 seconds left in the third period. A unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on Miller had put East Coast on the power play. Bailey King picked up the assist. Collin Duffy also scored for East Coast. Other players who recorded assists for East Coast were Matthew Burleson, Connor Sheehey, Kyle Levere, and Zachary Mabie, who each chipped in one. TJ Hollen made 56 saves for the Patriots on 60 shots. The Eagles registered three goals on six power play opportunities.
