Florida Junior Blades survives Florida Eels comeback, wins 6-4

Florida Junior Blades came close to giving away a three-goal lead to Florida Eels, but did just enough to escape with a 6-4 victory.

Florida Junior Blades led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when Florida Junior Blades' Matt Benolkin's scored at 1:59 in the third period to put Florida Junior Blades up 5-2.

Florida Eels' power play was ineffective against Florida Junior Blades' penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

Florida Junior Blades was led by Jonathan Davidson, who racked up one goal. Davidson scored 1:34 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Florida Junior Blades. Christopher Sune picked up the assist.

Florida Junior Blades forced its penalty killing units to work especially hard during the game, picking up seven minors and one major for 29 minutes in penalty time.
