The South Shore Kings pulled out a 3-2 (OT) overtime victory over the Valley Junior Warriors on a clutch goal by Nicholas Bertoni. South Shore came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Kings was down 2-0 after a power play goal by Valley's Timothy Perron at 3:34 in the third period. South Shore knotted things up at 2-2 on a power play goal by Bertoni at 11:15 in the third period. Bertoni had a great game for the Kings, netting two goals. South Shore kept the Junior Warriors' goalie busy throughout the game, and Matthew Saraceno made 32 saves on 35 shots. South Shore additionally got points from Arturs Buss, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, South Shore received assists from Corey Flynn and Evan Jacques, who contributed one a piece. Valley forced the Kings goalie Kory LeBlanc to work between the pipes, taking 31 shots. The Junior Warriors were helped by Brendan Heinze, who finished with one goal. Heinze scored short handed 30 seconds into the second period to make the score 1-0 Valley.
