The East Coast Eagles tried to dig themselves out of a three-goal hole, but the Atlanta Knights held on for a 3-1 victory. Atlanta made the score 3-0 on a goal by harris m at 12:53 in the third period, and East Coast got as close as 3-1 when Collin Duffy scored 19:59 into the third period. Cole Stallard was all over the ice for the Knights, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win. Stallard scored on the power play 16:38 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Atlanta. Atlanta had gained a power play chance when Connor Sheehey was whistled for elbowing. Bradley Harley provided the assist. The Knights stifled the Eagles' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Atlanta also got a goal from Nick Elliott as well. East Coast was held below its usual level of production. The Eagles average 3.5 goals per game. East Coast's penalty kill was ineffective, and let in three goals to Atlanta's power play unit. The Knights' Lucas Thurston stopped 19 shots out of the 20 that he faced. Atlanta incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Ryan Taylor recorded 25 saves for the Eagles. East Coast incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
