The Syracuse Junior Stars could not hold down the Adirondack Junior Wings, and Junior Wings erased a two-goal deficit en route to a 4-3 win.

Adirondack never led in the game until netting the game winner. The Junior Wings trailed 3-1 after a goal by Syracuse's Jesse Farabee at 12:41 in the second period. Adirondack tied things up at 3-3 on a goal by Ryan Flynn at 3:25 in the third period. The Junior Wings scored the game winner at 5:59 in the third period on a goal by Flynn.

Adirondack managed to stay out of the box better than usual, totaling one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Junior Wings ended up below its season average of 16.0 penalty minutes per game. Adirondack forced the Junior Stars goalie Nate Skidmore to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots. The Junior Wings cashed in on power play opportunities, scoring two goals on three chances.
