The Springfield Pics tried their best to erase a three-goal deficit, but Boston Bandits would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 4-2.

Boston Bandits took a 4-1 lead during the third period, only to have Springfield storm back on a Mario Fontanella goal 13:50 into the third period to pull to two goals down.

Boston Bandits got the win with help from a great game by Erik Hajdu, who had one goal and two assists. Hajdu scored 7:21 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Boston Bandits. Davis Zembergs provided the assist.

Boston Bandits forced the Pics goalie Matthew Blascak to work between the pipes, taking 39 shots.

Boston Bandits additionally got points from Brandon Seal, who also tallied two goals and one assist. Michael Taormina also scored for Boston Bandits.

Springfield also got a goal from Conner Brochu as well. Other players who recorded assists for Springfield were Logan Schinabeck, who had two and Garrett Torrico and Robert Smith, who each chipped in one.

Ryan McCarthy made 23 saves for Boston Bandits on 25 shots. Boston Bandits incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Blascak recorded 35 saves for Springfield. The Pics incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
