William Carrabino grabbed one point to lead the Springfield Pics to a 3-0 victory over the Palm Beach Hawks.

Springfield's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Palm Beach power plays. The Pics got an offensive boost from their blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

Springfield also got a goal from Joe Mercadante as well. Other players who recorded assists for Springfield were Nicholas Sibilia, Zachary Smith, James Bernardo, Thane Schinabeck, and Robert Smith, who contributed one a piece.

Palm Beach racked up the penalties in the contest, and ended with six minors and one major for 27 minutes in penalty time. The Hawks surpassed its season average of 15.0 penalty minutes per game. Palm Beach was held below its usual level of production. The Hawks average 2.4 goals per game.

Matthew Blascak made 23 saves for Springfield on 23 shots. The Pics totaled 25 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major and went 1-for-4 on the power play. Palm Beach's David Kutnar stopped 20 shots out of the 23 that he faced.
